Media contacts
ARGUS-MediaContact is a contact database with the details of over 17,000 journalists. It contains the addresses of the editorial offices for all important media sources in Switzerland. ARGUS-MediaContact can be ordered in addition to Avenue. Depending on the importance of a media source and its availability, the general addresses for the editorial offices and/or the editor-in-chief are complemented with information regarding the department heads and data for individual journalists. To assure the quality and currentness of the addresses, the contact details are constantly checked and updated. On the start page, you can see all recent modifications at a glance. At the same time, data records which are no longer up-to-date or have been deleted are displayed in your personal distribution lists and can be removed by pressing a single button.
My own contacts
In addition to the journalist database, you can create and manage your own contacts. These are saved as the contact type „My own contacts“.
To add a new media source that is not contained in media contacts (e.g. a company magazine or your own company), hover the cursor over „Contacts“ and click „Add medium“. Fill out the form and save. The media source can now be used when adding your own contacts.
On the „Contacts“ menu, there is the option „Add contact“ above „Add medium“. By default, the first media source you added will be the pre-selected media source for the contact. If you have added a contact, you can find this contact using the filter function „Type of contact – My own contacts“.
To bundle contacts, you can use the function Distribution lists.
